The end?

Well, not quite. First, if you’ve been reading Velocidad the whole way through, thank you! It’s been a long slow burn to get here. What started out as a quick way to get me to draw comic pages again has turned into a three year long labor of love. It started as pulling something together in time to join some co-workers and share a table together for an upcoming comic convention. Of course I’d been noodling around with the idea for a while but it was the swift kick in the pants I needed. A special thanks to Doug Magruder, Scott Wade, Chris Madden, and Niles Doubleday for forcing me to re-kickstart my love of drawing comics. Special apology to my boy Law for not listening all those years you told me to get back to it.

I’ve had the chance to print a very small run and share at shows so thanks to those folks, and hope you’ve had a chance to catch up on the story. Another thanks to my partner-in crime Gil Lawson for sharing this tables with me, and sometimes pitching my stuff harder than his own.

So is that it? As I said. Not quite. I will definitely be taking a small hiatus as I decide the next phase for Velocidad. I’ve mentioned before that I needed to weigh my options for print. Whether that was shopping it around or doing a Kickstarter, we’ll have to see how this next opportunity goes first. What opportunity you say? Can’t say quite yet, but new doors may have opened for Velocidad and I hope to share that news very soon(hopefully within the next month). Please keep your eyes peeled here or Velocidad’s facebook page. In the meantime, if you’ve enjoyed my work here you can also see my work on my Instagram.

Like I mentioned I still have plans for Velocidad. As a matter of fact I’ve already outlined Volume 2, and just finished (hand) writing the script for Vol 2, Issue 1 tonight. I enjoy this little world I’ve create far too much to move on. Have a favorite moment? Character? I’d love to hear.

Thanks again for those that have followed. I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride.
